How can you be certain that the Lord is in your life? It is like a little boy who was out flying his kite. It was a great day for kite flying; the wind was brisk, large billowy clouds were blowing across the sky. The kite went higher and higher until it was finally hidden completely by the clouds. A man walked up and asked the boy what he was doing. He replied, I’m flying a kite!  Then the man asked him how he could be so sure; you can’t see the kite. The boy acknowledged that the man was right and he couldn’t see the kite. Then he responded that even though he couldn’t see the kite; every once in a while he could feel a tug, so he knew it was there. In our lives a lot of things are uncertain and questions may arise as to whether the Lord is there or not. Then sure enough the Lord will tug on our hearts and then we know He’s there. As your faith flies throughout your life; even though you can’t see God, you can feel him tug! Even now He’s tugging on your heartstrings and you can be sure He will never let go. As I was writing this the wind was blowing hard and it reminded me that winds in our life will blow hard. Situations may even blow us over; but then comes the tug. Do you feel it? Let your faith soar, feel the Lord tug on your heart and rejoice that He is with you!
